Baby Diaper Cake Instructions
How to Make a Baby Diaper Cake (Step by step instructions)
In this step by step tutorial you learn how to make a diaper cake for an upcoming baby shower. The general concensus is that this is the easiest video to follow. I'm glad you think so. I tried hard to make it as brief as possible. Items you will need: 60 diapers (get size 1, not newborn--or you will need a lot more diapers than this), lots of rubberbands, ribbon, embellishments, cake stand, one 8-oz. bottle, one 4-oz bottle. Instructions on how to make a three-tiered cake made entirely of baby diapers (Pampers, "nappies"). Mothers to be love them. They make a fantastic centerpiece for the gift or sign in table at any baby shower. I have made another cake of washclothes, hand towels and towels fitting for a housewarming gift and/or bridal shower. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l1BT_W_FHKw If you enjoyed the video, leave me a message. Thanks! I have a website for other crafts I've made: http://silverscreamgrl.weebly.com

What is the best baby gift you've given or received?

The Best baby gift you can give is the Halo SleepSack. it is a wearable blanket that eliminates loose blankets from the crib to reduce the risk of suffocation and SIDS.Helps babies sleep better, too. You can get them with a swaddle band for newborns, and all the way up to ages 4 and 5.
Toy Safety
Make sure there are no small parts for children under 3. To see whether a toy is a choking risk, try to fit it through a toilet paper roll. If a toy or part of a toy can fit inside the roll, it's not safe for a child under 3.
May sure the toy does not contain small magnets. Two or more magnets (or a magnet and a metal object) swallowed can be attracted to each other through intestinal walls, causing twisting of the intestines, holes, blockages, infection.
Make sure that there aren't cords on the toys. This can pose a strangulation hazard.
